What’s the difference between the free and paid versions?
There’s no difference in features or data quality. The free version includes all geolocation features and uses the same premium IP-to-location database as the paid versions. You can use up to 1,000 monthly sessions for free, and upgrade to a Pro plan whenever you need additional capacity.
Will I pay for every page view?
Nope! Our geolocation pricing is designed to be efficient and fair. A session is counted only once per visit, regardless of how many geotargeted pages a visitor views.
A session will only be counted if a user visits a page with a geolocation-based trigger.
Is coding knowledge required?
Definitely not! Simply install the If-So Geolocation WordPress plugin and start creating dynamic content.

What is a geolocation session?
A geolocation session begins when a visitor first visits a page with a geolocation trigger, and ends when either the visitor closes the browser, or after 25 minutes of inactivity (this might vary slightly between browsers and the server on which the website is hosted).
For example, if a visitor arrives at the homepage, then visits several other pages and leaves, this will only be counted as one session.
How accurate is the location detection?
One of If-So’s advantages is its support for both IP-to-location detection and the HTML5 Geolocation API. While no IP-based service is 100% accurate, we use a premium database to deliver the best possible results. For higher precision – especially at the city level – we recommend using the HTML5 Geolocation API as a secondary method for address-level accuracy.(Learn more here).
